Welcome to china

China is a populous nation in East Asia whose vast landscape encompasses grassland, desert, mountains, lakes, rivers and more than 14,000km of coastline. Capital Beijing mixes modern architecture with historic sites such as the Forbidden City palace complex and Tiananmen Square. Shanghai is a skyscraper-studded global financial center. The iconic Great Wall of China runs east-west across the country's north. Whether it’s your first visit or your twentieth, China is so big, so diverse and so fast changing, it’s always an adventure.

Welcome to Japan

Japan is an island nation in the Pacific Ocean with dense cities, imperial palaces, mountainous national parks and thousands of shrines and temples. Shinkansen bullet trains connect the main islands of Kyushu (with Okinawa's subtropical beaches), Honshu (home to Tokyo and Hiroshima’s atomic-bomb memorial) and Hokkaido (famous for skiing). Tokyo, the capital, is known for skyscrapers, shopping and pop culture.

Fun Things To Do Quantum Of The Seas

The Quantum of the Seas is Royal Caribbean’s showcase ship. Designed to WOW, the Quantum of the Seas is on the cutting edge of cruising with features like the North Star, which is a capsule that takes passengers over the edge of the ship 300 feet above the water for 360-degree views of open ocean. Inside the ship passengers have the chance to experience never before seen spaces on a cruise ship, like the Seaplex, which is a multi-use area that will play host to bumper cars and a roller skating rink. Quantum of the Seas’ Two70 is an expansive lounge that, with the help of digital screens and aerial performers, turns into an interactive performance space at night.

  • "Bionic Bar will have two robot bartenders. While that may not mean that you never have to wait for a drink again, it will make the process of waiting a bit more fun. Type your order into a tablet, and watch the robotic arms mix your libation of choice."

  • "This ship has not one but two exciting new restaurants helmed by chefs you may have even heard of. The first, Michael Schwartz, has collaborated with Royal Caribbean in the past, and his latest venture is an upscale pub that takes classics (like pulled pork sliders, deviled eggs, chicken liver crostini) to the next level with attention to detail that ensures quality you haven’t seen in these dishes on this line before. The second is Jamie Oliver’s first restaurant at sea. Here, the British chef is focusing on rustic, seasonal Italian fare. (Think rice balls, Tuscan white bean bruschetta. We hear the porchetta sandwiches are really good.)"
