When to visit:  

Thailand weather consists of five months of rainfalls during the wet season, three months of dry and cooling breezes during the winter, and four months of heat during the summer.

 

Average temperature: 18 to 38°C.

Summer: mid-February to early June

Wet season: June to mid-October

Dry season: October to mid-February (travel tip: best time to visit Thailand)

 

Currency:

Thai baht comes in bills of 20 baht, 50 baht, 100 baht, 500 baht and 1,000 baht, and coins of 1 baht, 2 baht, 5 baht, and 10 baht.

Foreign currency exchange can be found at the airports and most major banks.

 

Credit cards:

MasterCard and Visa are the most widely accepted credit cards in Thailand. Just in case, carrying some cash is recommended.
