While on my bucket list trip to China, it was extremely hot. On one of the hottest days of the trip, it was close to 100 degrees F, we went to the Great Wall of China. It was amazing, and one of my proudest accomplishments is that even in the heat, I made it to the top.
I was one of the few in our tour group that actually finished the climb and I was the oldest person in the group! I proudly display my plastic medal that I purchased in the gift shop at the top of the wall. I loved the entire trip, but for me, this was one big checkmark on my bucket list.
